Following the advice given by the government, most main denominations including Elim, we have been asked to stop our meetings together both Sunday services and smaller groups, such as Life Groups. This to slow the spread of this virus & protect the most vulnerable.

This doesn’t mean we are no longer doing church, we’re just going to do it differently.

Live Stream Services
We are livestreaming on Facebook and YouTube every Sunday @10:30am sharing some worship, praying, taking communion and a short message together so we can continue to encourage each other.

Please visit this link

We will also post video messages during the week so please look out for these.

Life Groups
Whilst Life Groups are not meeting as a group together, many are getting together on Zoom video meetings as well as sharing regular encouragements over WhatsApp groups. We also caring for each other and finding different ways to look out for one another.

The Vulnerable
We’ve been ringing to check on those who are vulnerable in KCC and may have had to self isolate. It’s been so encouraging to hear how members of KCC, relatives & neighbours have stepped in to help. We want to encourage those who are able to offer to support your neighbours at this time of uncertainty. We enclose a simple card you could print & offer to help those near where you live. Please let us know if you need help.

Encouragement to Pray
We want to encouragement everyone to give quality time to praying for KCC, our town & region and nations, at this time. We’re reminded of the dark hours on the second world war when the nation prayed with churches & cathedrals full. It’s at that time the direction of the war began to turn.
With this in mind we’re encouraging everyone to pray in their homes/families at 8pm each evening.

We will come through this
Jesus is the Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End. He sees the end from the beginning, and He is with us at this time. He is with us each step of the way, we don’t need to live in fear.

We want to thank everyone for your prayers, encouragement and the way KCC has rallied around to support one another & those around us.

With our love & prayers

Phil & Caroline
