DOING CHURCH DIFFERENTLY

We continue to follow the advice given by the government and have implemented measures required to continue ‘doing church’ and stay COVID-safe.

Sunday Family Worship

Join us for our family service of worship, testimonies, prayer, breaking bread and bible-based teaching.

Livestream remains a significant part our church life. We are livestreaming on Facebook and YouTube every Sunday @10:30am. Please visit this link  facebook.com/kennetchristiancentre/live

From 16th May, we will also be meeting face-to-face for our Sunday morning service. We begin our service with communal worship in the rear car park (unless there is heavy rain).  After worship, we will move into the main church and Gardner Hall for the remainder of the service. Adults, and children over 12, need to wear a mask on entry to the building.

If you prefer not to be outside, the worship will be livestreamed into the Gardner Hall. You can sit in the company of others and watch the worship together.

Spaces are limited so please book your space online via our Face Book page.

Life Groups
Whilst Life Groups are not meeting as a group together, many are getting together on Zoom video meetings as well as sharing regular encouragements over WhatsApp groups. We also caring for each other and finding different ways to look out for one another.

The Vulnerable
We’ve been ringing to check on those who are vulnerable in KCC and may have had to self isolate. It’s been so encouraging to hear how members of KCC, relatives & neighbours have stepped in to help. We want to encourage those who are able to offer to support your neighbours at this time of uncertainty. We enclose a simple card you could print & offer to help those near where you live. Please let us know if you need help.

Encouragement to Pray
We want to encouragement everyone to give quality time to praying for KCC, our town & region and nations, at this time. We’re reminded of the dark hours on the second world war when the nation prayed with churches & cathedrals full. It’s at that time the direction of the war began to turn.
With this in mind we’re encouraging everyone to pray in their homes/families at 8pm each evening.

We will come through this
Jesus is the Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End. He sees the end from the beginning, and He is with us at this time. He is with us each step of the way, we don’t need to live in fear.

We want to thank everyone for your prayers, encouragement and the way KCC has rallied around to support one another & those around us.

With our love & prayers

Phil & Caroline
