Giving at KCC

There are several ways to make a financial gift to the vital work of God at KCC.

1. Online Giving

KCC works with Stewardship to enable on-line giving. Stewardship helps the Christian community in the UK to give and to receive by making on-line giving easy. You can make gifts into KCC’s Stewardship Giving Account (Give.net) on a regular or one-off basis.

How it works:

  • You give to Stewardship and they pass it on to KCC. If you mark the gift for Gift Aid they will add this to your Gift.
  • Stewardship charge a fee of 3.5% of the gift to cover their handling charges. (If you are a regular giver, it is better for KCC if you set up a standing order with your bank as there are no processing costs involved – but the choice is yours).
  • Stewardship allows you to give anonymously should you wish to do so.
2. Standing Order

If you wish to give regularly, you may prefer to set up a Standing Order with your bank. Our bank account details are:

Account name: Kennet Christian Centre

Account number: 01871981

Sort Code: 30-95-89

If you are UK tax payer and wish to use Gift Aid so that KCC can claim tax paid on your gift, please complete a Charity Gift Aid Declaration form and return it to the KCC Office.

It is also helpful if your Standing Order is referenced KCCGA so that we (and HMRC) can easily identify it for Gift Aid.

Forms are available in the church entrance, from a member of our Welcome team or the KCC Office.

3. Cheque

If you wish to give by cheque, please make it payable to Kennet Christian Centre and place it in the offering bag.

If you are UK tax payer and wish to use Gift Aid so that KCC can claim tax paid on your gift, then place the cheque in a Giving envelope, complete details on the front of the envelope and place this in the offering bag.

4. Card

During the Sunday service, if you wish to give by card, please complete the details on the front and back of a Giving envelope and place it in the offering bag.

Don’t forget to tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer and want KCC to claim tax paid on your gift.

At other events, such as Rainbow, conferences and training events we have a card machine where we can take your payment. If you wish to Gift Aid that payment, you will also need to complete a Giving envelope.

Giving envelopes are available in the church entrance or from a member of our Welcome team.

5. Cash

If you wish to give cash, simply place this in the offering bag.
